Gulf VAT-Oman to delay implementation

Following the introduction of VAT in UAE and Saudi Arabia from 1 January 2018, the Oman ministry of finance has now declared that implementation of VAT will be postponed until 2019 at the earliest.

The 6 GCC countries were due to introduce VAT in 2018, but further details are awaited in respect of nations other than UAE and Saudi Arabia.
