Qatar-VAT system edges closer

This week, the government of Qatar has approved the draft legislation in respect of the VAT system to be implemented in the country, and across the GCC states.

It is expected that the regime will be implemented in Qatar at some point in 2018, although it has not been confirmed that it will be in January 2018 as it is expected to be in certain GCC states.
