Sweden VAT threshold

A proposal has been made by the Swedish government for the introduction of a VAT registration threshold for Swedish established businesses.

The annual threshold would be SEK 30,000 and businesses would also have to have turnover below this level for the previous 2 years in order to not have to register.

If passed into legislation, the threshold will apply from 1 January 2017.
