Switzerland-VAT reduced rated e-publications

Proposals have been made which would see electronic books, magazines and newspapers subject to the reduced rate of 2.5%, rather than the current standard rate of 8%. If approved, this change will have effect from 1.1.2018.

The reduced rate will not apply if the publication is predominantly for advertising.
